Inspire Mii

And just because now I’m in the mood… here is one of my favourite songs from the CD “World Container”… “Yer Not The Ocean”

So… when I was listening to REM, I instantly thought of one of my more favourite and very Canadian bands, The Tragically Hip.

I can’t remember exactly what song really got my attention from these guys, but I very much remember the awesome song “My Music at Work”… and of course “New Orleans is Sinking”… but I thought I’d post the first one :P

I have (i think) the complete Discography of The Hip… and they seem to be getting progressively better, while maintaining their signature sound, they are definitely a band I look up too.

Another awesome band that I have only RECENLTY (i know… bad on me) gotten into is R.E.M… and the song that got me was “Losing My Religion”.

Now I was going to post the music video, but I found a live video that I thought captured the energy a bit more… so here we go.

I’m gonna pickup a couple of CD’s from these guys soon, I’ve listened to their newer stuff on the site and I’m digging it very muchly!

So I haven’t posted in awhile… mai bawd :P

Im gonna kick it off with some music (this will all be music for today…)

So the first band is the very talented Supergrass, and one of my favourite songs from them “Mary”… they currently have a new cd out, and I haven’t checked it out yet, but from what I have heard, it sounds like a must buy (and I’ll get it soon).
